artist statement

自然の中に足を踏み入れた。
そこには僕の存在など全く影響しないほど、静かに強く美しい景色。
光、風、音、関わるすべての物事が調和して、
留まる事なく、常に流れ続ける。
そのことだけを美しいと思い、自然に写真を撮った。

Setting foot in nature.
The scenery so serene and intensely beautiful that my presence has no affect at all. Light, wind, sound, every element involved harmonizing, ceaselessly, ever flowing. Feeling that that alone was beautiful, I photographed spontaneously.

biography

山﨑泰治

1978年長野県生まれ。写真専門学校、スタジオ勤務を経て2004年上田義彦氏に師事。 2008年写真家として独立。写真作家としても数々の個展、企画展に参加。現在に至る。

Taiji Yamazaki

Born 1978 in Nagano Prefecture. Attended photography school and worked at a studio before apprenticing with Yoshihiko Ueda in 2004. Launched his career as an independent photographer in 2008. His fine art photography has been featured in a number of solo and group exhibitions.
